How do I publish my Web page using CuteFTP? (Windows)

In the following article, CuteFTP 5.0 XP was used. Depending upon which version of CuteFTP you are using, the steps may vary.

To publish your Web page using CuteFTP, perform the following steps:

1. From the Site Manager File menu, click New Site.

2.From the Site Settings for New Site text boxes, enter a generic Label for site (e.g., My Site), FTP Host Address (e.g., ftp.mydomain.com or your account IP address, e.g., 192.164.64.1), FTP site User Name, FTP site Password, and FTP site connection port.

Note: The default setting for the FTP site connection port is 21. If the site requires a port other than 21 to establish a connection, enter it in the FTP site connection port text box.

3.Click Connect

4.From your local folder, click to choose the file(s) to upload. Then click the Upload Files Icon and proceed to upload.

5.You should then see the same files appear on the right side (Server Side) once they are finished uploading.
